Tom Jablonski
Tom Jablonski is a leader for Leaders Legacy in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan.

A 30-year-veteran of the real estate industry, Tom is an industrial real estate broker with L. Mason Capitani, Inc., commercial real estate brokers in Detroit. The company represents industrial, office and retail space for lease and sale.

Tom’s working career actually started on an assembly line with Chrysler Motor Company in 1974, when he was 17, but when he was caught up in a major layoff one year later, he decided that his future should involve college and a different career path.

After attending Macomb Community College, he began working in real estate and has forged a very successful career.

He and his wife of 29 years, Geri, live in the Detroit suburb of Rochester Hills. They have three children – a daughter, Mary, who is a registered nurse; a son, Tommy, a student and varsity baseball player at Oakland University; and a daughter, Rachel, a junior in high school who aspires to play collegiate softball.

Tom’s favorite activities include training for and competing in triathlons, fishing, watching his children play competitive sports, and coaching youth baseball and softball. He once played in a rock band and one of his prized possessions is a vintage 1963 Fender Stratocaster guitar.

He has been involved with Leaders Legacy since its start in 2000, having been mentored by Dave Stoddard and sharing his vision for developing leaders through a very personalized approach to mentoring and coaching. He also is a certified Birkman consultant.

In Detroit, Tom and Leaders Legacy have worked with leaders at Rockwell, Rockwell Samsung and other corporations, and he was a member of a Leaders Legacy contingent that traveled to Seoul, Korea to present a training workshop to a Rockwell Samsung leadership team there.

Tom also is coordinating a mentoring program for members of the Oakland University varsity baseball team in which local business leaders meet with athletes individually, as well as in groups and at special events. The players, coaches and parents all have expressed how much they appreciate this investment in the lives of the young men.
