Paul Dunnavant
Paul Dunnavant is CFO for Holmes Timber Co., Inc. and Atlantic Coast Properties, Inc. in Columbia, S.C. and True South Communities in Aiken, S.C. He has served in this role for the timber brokers and development companies since 2002.
A graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in accounting, Paul is a CPA and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). His previous work experience includes serving as CFO for Amick Farms, a fully integrated poultry processing company in Batesburg, S.C., from 1993 to 2002.
He first was introduced to Dave Stoddard and Leaders Legacy in 2001 when he was with Amick Farms, and Dave has served as his mentor since that time.
Paul has been a Birkman Method user since that time and became a certified Birkman Method consultant more than three years ago. His companies use the personal motivational assessment tool in the processes of hiring, individual and team motivation and assessment, and team building.
Leaders Legacy, he states, has been an invaluable resource to assist in developing their personnel to their fullest potential.
Paul also has used the Birkman to assist several individuals in their personal and professional development. In the future he hopes to develop a local network of people with a desire to assist others in their personal growth through mentoring and coaching.
He and his wife, Alma, have been married since 2004. Together they have three sons.
Paul plays golf when he has the opportunity, but especially enjoys watching his children compete in sports, including football, basketball, baseball and swimming. Other activities in his free time include fishing and hiking.
