Brad Thomas
Brad Thomas fulfilled his growing desire to invest his life in developing other people in 2005 when he left a successful law practice to join the staff of Leaders Legacy, Inc. as Vice President and General Counsel.

A graduate of the University of Georgia in 1988, and the Mercer University School of Law in 1992, Brad also was a participant in the National College of Advocacy at Harvard University in 1999.

During his career, Brad’s peers recognized him with the AV rating by Martindale Hubbell. The AV rating is given to lawyers who exhibit exceptional skills as well as high ethics in the legal profession. He served as lead trial counsel for Fortune 100 companies, as well as individuals holding record verdicts in several counties in Georgia.

Brad has spoken to attorneys, companies, unions and individuals throughout his career on numerous issues pertaining to developing a successful organization. Additionally, he has been interviewed by several regional and national publications for his legal analysis on a variety of topics.

He states, however, that none of those accomplishments and accolades compare to the gratification he receives from investing in others and seeing real changes occur in those individuals and the organizations they represented. Since joining Leaders Legacy, Brad has been an integral part of the team with his ability to contextualize and apply effective mentoring principles after years of experience in managing his own law firm. He also has earned certification to administer the Birkman Method personal assessment tool.

Brad lives in Atlanta with his wife, Christine, and his three children, Anna, Brett and George. During his free hours, besides cheering for his beloved Georgia Bulldogs, Brad enjoys cycling, fishing and coaching children’s tee-ball teams.
